Masaki is one of the UK's most talented Japanese chefs. At his restauran Dinings SW3, he demonstrates impeccable Japanese discipline applied to his love for British ingredients, in particular Cornish seafood.
He grew up just north of Tokyo, where he worked in his parent's traditional Kaiseki restaurant, before travelling to London at 23 intrigued to discover how his native cuisine was served outside of Japan. Later moving to Tokyo, he honed his own personal style of Japanese cooking as well as mastering the art of sushi. In 2005, Masaki returned to London and took a position as part of the Nobu Berkeley Street opening team before opening Dining SW3 in 2017.
Aga Kubish is a fine artist and printmaker based in Somerset. Her practice explores organic networks, root structures, botanical systems and layered environments. We have fallen in love with her prints, her traditional, manual process and her exploration of the natural world. Guided by Aga, guests will be creating their own prints to take home.
Sarah Langford is an award-nominated author and public speaker. A decade as a defence barrister gave Sarah a strong interest in the stories of those who are often overlooked. Managing an organic farm in Suffolk for seven years taught her about the issues facing the industry and how important nature-based solutions to the climate crisis are. She writes about the natural world, regenerative farming and food.
Alongside this illustrious line up, the inimitable Nick Strangeway will be creating the drinks pairings and Coombeshead's very own baking king Ben Glazer will be sharing the sourdough process with guests.
